Which had been read and assented to by the House.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
to whom was referred
The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article LXXV.,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Pleading, Prac-
tice and Process," sub-title "Removal of Causes," as amended
by the Act of 1865, chapter 187, by adding subsection to
section 74, reported back the same unfavorably,
And the report was adopted.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi
ciary, to whom was referred,
The Senate hill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sec-
tion 139, of Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws.
title "Chancery," relating to the bonds of trustees,
Reported back the same with proposed amendment.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by adding at end of section 139, the following,
"Provided that nothing in this section shall be construed as
requiring any trustee appointed by will or deed to enter into
bond where the will or deed appointing such trustee shall
declare that no bond shall be required."
Which was adopted.
The bill as amended, was then read a second time.
On motion of Mr. Chapman,
The House proceeded to the consideration of
The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend and re-enact sec-
tion 139, of Article XVI., of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Chancery," relating to the bonds of trustees.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavor-
able report of the Committee.
Which was adopted, and,
On motion of Mr. Chapman,
The hill was recommitted to the Committee reporting the
same.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend section 1, of Ar-
ticle XXXVIII., Code of Public General Laws title "Fees
of Officers," as amended by chapter 441, of the Acts of 1870,
by repealing and re-enacting the same as amended.
Which was read a second time.
