'1322 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 30,
Mr. Spencer submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 80, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
We have received your message asking the appointment of
'' Committee of Conference to take into consideration the un-
favorable report of a bill to appropriate $2,500 to the Mary-
land Eye and Ear Institute, and agree thereto.
We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs. Spen-
der, Stone and Hardcastle.

Chief Clerk.
Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay for necessary repairs of the State House and
paving the carriage way to the Governor's Mansion,
Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
