City of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same as follows, "reported back the same unfavorably, the report was adopted.
Mr. Ford, of Queen Anne's, Chairman of Select Commit-
tee, to whom was referred
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 3, 4 and
5, of the Act 1856, chapter 149, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the Queen Anne's and Kent Railroad Company, and also
to repeal sections 3, 4 and 5, of the Act of 1867, chapter 142,
entitled an Act to revise and amend the Queen Anne's and
Kent Railroad Company, passed on the 8th day of March
1856, and in lieu of the sections repealed in the Act of 1867,
to enact the following amendments, reported, hack the same
"with proposed amendments,
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
In section 3 line 10, alter the word "proxy," strike out
"five," and insert "four."
In section 4, line 5, after the word "discretion," strike out
'two," and insert "three."
In Section 5, line 4, alter the word "the," strike out
'two," and insert "three,'' and in line 5, after the word
"the," strike out "five," and insert "four."
The amendments were adopted, and,
The bill, an amended, was then read a second time.
Mr. Phillips, Chapman on the part of the House, of the
Joint Committee of Conference, appointed to consider pro-
posed amendments to the bill entitled an Act for the better
protection of birds in Frederick: county, submitted the follow-
ing
REPORT:
To the Honorable the General assembly of Maryland :
The Joint Committee of Conference to which was referred.
the hill entitled an Act for the better protection of birds in
Frederick county, together with the proposed Senate amend-
ments thereto, which had. been non-concurred in by the
House bee leave to report, that they concur in recommend-
ing the following :
That the Senate recede from the proposed amendments of
that Body, and that the following bill be adopted as a sub-
stitute therefor:
A bill entitled an Act for the better protection of Birds and.
Rabbits in Frederick and Anne Arundel counties.
