1872 OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 1285 Being upon a third reading, Mr. Chapman (by unanimous consent) submitted the fol- lowing amendments : AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. In line 3, after the word " Middleton," insert; "and of Sarah Ann Johnson." Amend title by adding, "and of Sarah Ann Johnson." The amendments were severally read and adopted, and The lull, as amended, was then read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
Said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill entitled an Act giving the consent of the State of Maryland to the purchase by the United States of land with in this State for public purposes, and ceding jurisdiction thereof to the United States, Was read a second, time and ordered to be engrossed fir a third reading, and, On motion of Mr. Groome, The bill was referred to the Committee on Federal Rela- tions. |
