mittee on Federal Relations.

The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article XL., of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Fines and Forfeitures," to come in after section 3,
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to release the bonds of captains "of
military companies from liability for the non-return of uni-
forms in certain specified cases.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Militia.
Also, returned
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of an Act
passed January Session, 1868, chapter 466, entitled an Act.
to run, define and mark the dividing line between Prince
George's and Montgomery counties, and also to repeal the-
Act passed at the January Session, 1870, chapter 471, relat-
ing to the same subject, and to re-enact the same so as to read as follows, '
Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed!
amendments."
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend by striking out all of the 4th section after the word;
"Act," in the third line, and insert, "and the Comptroller
of the Treasury is hereby directed to draw his warrant on the
Treasurer, in favor of the following named persons, for the-
following amounts, in full payment of the costs incurred in
running and marking the line between said counties, viz:
In favor of Francis Valdenar for two hundred and fifty dol-
lars; in favor of W. W. Hull tor two hundred dollars; in
favor of James Anderson for eighty dollar!-; in favor of T_
L. Patterson for lour hundred and twenty-five dollars; in
favor of E. Roby to' sixty-two dollars and fifty cents; in
favor of C. Roby fur ninety-five dollars; in favor of W.
Roby for twenty-five dollars; in favor of S. Roby for sixty
dollars; in favor of M. Roby for fifty-five dollars; in favor of
T. Beall for five dollars; in favor of T. Parker for thirty-seven dollars and fifty cents; in favor of B. Brock for ten
dollars; in favor of R. Marlow for fifteen dollars; in favor of
A, J. Bean for fifty-seven dollars and fifty cents; in favor of
J. T. Bean for fifty-seven dollars and fifty cents; in favor of
