Mr. Young, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act directing the County Com-
missioners of Washington county, to pay owners of property
used and occupied by the Circuit Court for Washington
county, the Orphans' Court, Register of Wills, Clerk of the
Circuit Court, Sheriff and the County Commissioners, from
the time of the destruction of the Court House in said county,
and until the same shall be rebuilt, and to authorize the
Clerk of the Court and Register of Wills.
'Which was read a second time.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered
The bill entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money to
the Maryland Eye and Ear Institute.
Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Ways and Means.
Also, the following message :
BY THE SENATE,
March 26, 1872.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message proposing the appoint-
ment of a Joint Committee of Conference, to consist of two
on the part of the Senate and three on the part of the House
of Delegates, to consider and report upon the amendment
adopted by the Senate on the bill to repeal section 2, of Ar-
ticle LXIV., and concur therein.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs.
Blake and Tuck.

Secretary.

weighers of grain by the Governor.
