"fifty."
Section 1, line 10, strike out "twenty-five," and insert
"fifty."
Section 1, line 10, strike out all after the word "dollars,"
down to the word "dollars" in line 19, inclusive.
Line 5, section 2, strike out "one hundred," and insert
"fifty."
Same line and section, strike out "Frederick," and insert
"Emmittsburg."
Line 6, section 2, strike out "and Pennsylvania line."
Same line and section, strike out "south," and insert the
words "as aforesaid."
Strike out in line 7, section 2, the words "of Frederick."
Line 8, section 2, strike out "four hundred," and insert
"fifty."
Section 4, line 3, strike out the words "in gold."
Section 4, line 4, strike the words "in gold."
Strike out all in section 7, and insert the following in lieu
thereof:
Sec. 7. And be it further enacted. That, at the next gen-
eral election to be held in Frederick county after the passage
of this Act, there may be written or printed on the ballots of
the legally qualified voters at said election the words: "For
Railroad Subscription," or "Against Railroad Subscription,"
and if a majority of the ballots cast at said election shall
contain the words. "For Railroad Subscription," then this
Act shall become operative and binding; but if a majority of
said ballots shall contain the words: "Against Railroad Sub-
scription," then this Act shall be void and of no effect, and
count and return as other ballots cast at said election, the
number of votes cast "For Railroad Subscription" and
"Against Railroad Subscription," respectively, and the
County Commissioners of said county shall, by proclamation,
announce the result thereof."
