AMENDMENT PROPOSED®.
Section 8, line 1, strike out the word "death," and insert
after the word "of," the words: "the death of any County
School Commissioner or his."

Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Chapter 7, sec. 3, add at end of section: "And in districts
where there is a considerable German population, the Board
of County School Commissioners are authorized to cause the
German language to be taught, if they shall think proper so
to do."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Griswold submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After "Maryland" in fourth line, insert the "History of
the State of Mary land."

Mr. Whitson submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Line 1, strike out the words "forty-five," and insert the
word "fifty."

and insert the same words after the word "philosophy," and
