The bill was recommitted to the Committee on Ways and'
Means
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Harford county, in their discretion, to divide any
of the election districts in said county into election precincts,.
and designate the places of holding elections therein,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a.
third reading.
The 'Secretary of the Senate returned
The bill entitled an Act to prevent stock running at large--
in and around Reisterstown, in Baltimore county,
Endorsed "Reported unfavorably from the Select Com-
mittee, and report adopted."
Also,
Returned the following bills, severally endorsed "Passed'
by yeas and nays."
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of Article XLI,.
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Fish and Fish-
eries," sub-title "Head of the Bay."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to pay John O. Henry, late First
Officer of the steamer Delia, of the Oyster Police Force, a
sum of money,
Also,
The hill entitled an Act to provide for the collection of ar-
rearages of State taxes due on the shares of capital stock of
National Banks, and Banking Associations located, in this,
State, and doing business therein.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize Robert H. Smithy
Frank Magaw, Joseph M. Simmons, and James Boyce, to
build a bridge in Harford county,
Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed
amendments"
/ AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Amend the title by inserting between the word 'bridge,"
and the word "in,' in line 3, the words, viz : "Across, the;
narrows of Spesutia Island."
Strikeout all after the word "tolls," in line 7, section I,.
to the end of said section, and insert the following, vis:
