The bill making further appropriations for the support of
the Government for the year to end 31st December, 1872,
Was made the order of the day for tomorrow, Tuesday,

The bill making further appropriations for the support of
the Government for the year to end December 31, 1873,
Was made the order of the day for Tuesday, 26th instant.
On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City, (the rules being
suspended,)
The House proceeded to the consideration of
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to ap-
point an additional Justice of the Peace for the second elec-
tion district, and also an additional Justice of the Peace for
the ninth election district in Frederick county.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Clark, of Baltimore City,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Committee on the Judiciary.
The House then proceeded to the consideration of the order
of the day, being
The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments an Act of the. General Assembly of Maryland, pasted
at the January Session, in the year 1868, chapter 134, ap-
proved March 30, 1868, entitled an Act supplementary and
amendatory of an Act passed at the present Session of the
Legislature of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend the
charter of the Cumberland and Pennsylvania Railroad Com-
pany, passed at January Session, 1&49, chapter 469.
