The Senate bill entitled an Act to license measurers and'
counters of lumber in the City of Baltimore.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Young, of Washington, Chairman of the Committee
on Agriculture, reported unfavorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Article LXXXVII.
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Sheep," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
And the report was adopted.
Said bill was then returned to the Senate.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to release Mrs. Eleanor
Roller, all the rights and interest of the State of Maryland in
and to the personal estate of William Frederick Cary, late
of Baltimore City, deceased.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Streett, from the Committee on the Judiciary, re-
ported unfavorably,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article LXXVII, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Railroads,"
And the report was adopted.
Also, reported unfavorably,
The bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to
Article XVI., of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to Chancery,
And the report wag adopted.
Mr. Griswold, Chairman of a Select Committee, to whom
was referred
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 4, of chap-
ter 77, of the Acts of General Assembly of Maryland, to in-
corporate (he Western Maryland Railroad Company, .and to
give additional power to said Company.
Reported the same favorably.
Said bill having been read a first time this day.
Mr. Griswold moved that said bill be read a second time
this day, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitu-
tion, Article HI.,, section 27.
