1086 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 25,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed, at the
January Session, 1867, chapter 98, entitled an Act to pre-
vent the selling or peddling of carriages, hacks, gigs and
buggy-wagons, &c., in Washington county, not manufac-
tured in the State of Maryland.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
Trustees of Salisbury Academy, to sell the property belong-
ing to said Academy.
i Also,
The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Keedysville, in Washington county.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Dorchester county to build a bridge over Fishing
Creek, at a point known as Fishing Creek Ferry, connecting
Hooper's Island with the main land at the said point.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 21, of Article
VII. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Carroll Coun-
ty," sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Attor-
ney General to institute proceedings to forfeit the charter of
the Falls' Road Turnpike Company, of Baltimore county,
Endorsed "Reported unfavorably from a Select Commit-
tee, and the report adopted."
Also,
The bill entitled an Act regulating and taxing the owners
of dogs for the protection of sheep in Frederick county,
Endorsed "Reported unfavorably from a Select Commit-
tee, and the report adopted."
Mr. Spencer, Chairman of the Committee on Elections, re-
ported favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections '19, 82,
83, 84 and 85, of Article XXXV. of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title "Elections," sub-title ''Representatives in
Congress," and to enact the following in lieu thereof.
"Whiten was read. a second, time.
Mr. Travers, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
