FRIDAY, January 19, 1872.
The House met, and
Was opened with prayer by the Rev. Father Freitag.
Present at the call of the roll, the following members-

erty, Smith, Vickers, Radcliffe, Mearns, Penington, Scott,
Bowie, Eareckson, Ford, of Q. A., Franklin. Parker, Phil-
lips, Rowe, Delaplane, Miller, Routzahn, Baldwin, Streett,
Hardcastle, Deweese, McCosker, Hamilton, T. H., Cooper,
Hamilton, O. R , Jamart, Foster, Staylor, Stewart, Travers,
dark, of Bait city, Colton, of Bait. city, Kirk, Chaisty,
Harig, Feig, McColgan, Markland, Griswold, Young, of
Wash. co., Ardinger, Newcomer, Whitson, Hilton, Riggs,
dark, of Mont , Porter, Coles, Young, of Alle , Steele. La
motte, L. A. J , Polk, Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—75.
Mr. Routzahn presented the petition of Maurice C Rout~
zahn and others, asking an Act of the General Assembly to
legalize the bequest of Elizabeth Routzahn, of Frederick
county, to the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Mid-dletown, in said county.
Which was lend, and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary
Mr. Ardinger presented the petition of E H Friend,
Charles Embrey, Wm. W. Turner and twelve others, asking
for a law authorizing the Quarterly Conference of the Wil-liamsport and Berkeley Mission of the Methodist Protestant
Church to hold and dispose of then church property at
Clearspring, Washington county, Md
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on the-
Judiciary.
Mr. Jamart presented the petition of Mrs. Margaret Rouse.
widow of Benjamin House, asking (or a pension.
Also,
A petition of Mrs. Mary Pratt, widow of Henry Pratt,
asking for a pension.
