to incorporate the Western Maryland Extension Railway
Company, passed at January Session, 1870.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to refund to Samuel B. Hance,
Frederick Sasscer, Charles Claggett, and Sarah E. Herbert,
moneys erroneously paid by them as State taxes on bank
stock into the Treasury of Maryland.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Claims.
Also,
The bill entitled an Act to license measurers and counters
of lumber in the City of Baltimore.
