1083 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 21,.
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Young, of Allegany, moved that the enacting clause
of said bill be stricken out.
Decided in the negative.
The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Steam,
Dredging Company,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. McCosker submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
After the name of "A. J. Schroeder," in line 3, section 1
insert the name of "William T. Thelin."
Which was adopted.
The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and'
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1828, chapter
136, entitled an Act to incorporate the members of Christ-
Church, as a separate congregation of the Protestant Epis-

license, and paid by said Clerk into the Treasury,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to regulate the trial fees of the
State's Attorney for Wicomico county,
Was read a third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
