Mr. Harig, (the rubs being suspended,) submitted the following order; Ordered, That the business of the House be suspended for ten minutes so as to give an opportunity to a delegation from Baltimore City, to present petition against modifica- tion of the Sunday Law. "Which was rend. Mr. Streett submitted the following order as a substitute for the order submitted by Mr. Harig : Ordered, That the rates be suspended, and that the peti- tion be read from the Clerk's desk. Which was read. The question recurring upon the adoption of the- substi- tute submitted by Mr. Streett, Mr. Spencer demanded the previous question, The question then being, "Shall the main question be now put?" It was sustained. The question then recurring upon the adoption of the amendment submitted by Mr. Streett, Mr. Travers demanded the yeas and and nays, The demand being sustained, The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follows:
