On motion of -Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill referred to the Committee on Corporations.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 9, of chapter
438, of the Acts of 1870, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Citizen's Railway Company of Baltimore, and to Add addi-
tional sections thereto,
Being upon a third reading,
On motion of Mr. Colton, of Baltimore City,
The farther consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill referred to the Committee on Corporations.
The following Acts having passed both Branches of the
General Assembly, were this day submitted to His Excel-
lency, the Governor, for his approval :
An Act to prevent swine from running at large in the
streets, lanes and alleys contiguous to Burkittsville, in Fred-
erick county.
Also,
An Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Charles
county, to review and correct the valuation of the lands in
aid county, assed to Elizabeth Messrs. Mathews.
Also,
An Act to amend the Act incorporating the Western Mary-
land Railroad Company, and to give additional powers to
said Company.
Also,
, An Act to direct the Comptroller to issue his warrant to
the Treasurer, to pay to Luther Giddings, the gum of twenty-
four hundred and ninety-five dollars, for printing, binding
and distributing the Report of the Board of State School
Commissioners for the year 1870,
Also,
An Act to add additional sections to Article XL, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Frederick County," re-
quiring certain duties of the County Commissioners and
County Collector of said county, in regard to any sum or
sums of money which is or shall be appropriated tor the use
of any person or persons in said county, and not paid over to
such person or persons during the term of office of said
County Collector, said section to come in after section 349,
and to he section 350, of said Article.
