JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS

[Mar. 24,

A bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of six thou-
sand five hundred and eighty-one dollars, to pay James
Touchstone for iron railing around the new Executive Man-
sion, at Annapolis, Maryland.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Webb, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to issue its bonds to defray the expenses
of the building of the new City Hall.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Webb moved that the said bill be read a second time
this day, under the provisions of the Constitution, section 27,
Article 3.
