970 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23,

Leave was granted to Mrs. McLane, Webb and Gardiner
to introduce a bill entitled a further supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Batimore City Passenger
Railway.

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell, (the rules being suspended,)

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to incorporate the Chesapeake Chemical
Works of Maryland.

On motion of Mr. Thomas, of Queen Anne's, (the rules
feeing suspended,)

Leave was granted to Messrs. Thomas, of Queen Anne's,
Brown, and Hardcastle, of Caroline, to introduce a bill for the
relief of Jorden Kinnamon, a security of Thomas C. Wyatt,
late a Collector of State Taxes for Caroline county.

On motion of Mr. McLane, (the rules being suspended,)

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to legalize a supplement to the Maryland Code,

containing the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at the
sessions 1861 to 1867, (both inclusive,) arranged in Articles
and sections, to correspond with the Code, by Lewis Mayer.

On motion of Mr. Choate, (the rules being suspended,) it

was

Ordered, That after to-morrow (the 24th instant,) this
House meet regularly at 10 o'clock A. M .

Mr. Martin, (the rules being suspended,)

Moved a reconsideration of the vote by which the bill en-
titled an Act to repeal sections 164, 165, 167 and 169, of an
Act passed January session 1868, chapter 87, entitled an Act
to add additional sections to Article 11, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Frederick county, relating to the powers and
duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of
Frederick, to follow section 161, and to substitute in lieu of
sections 164, 167 and 169 the following,

Was ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Decided in the negative.

On motion of Mr. Gatch, (the rules being suspended,)

The vote by which the bill entitled an Act to confer upon
the State of Maryland Mutual Fire Insurance Company of
Baltimore city, the power to declare and make the premium
rates of said Company, liens upon the real estate insured by
said Company,

Was passed on yesterday,
Was reconsidered,
