On motion of Mr. Hopkins,

The vote by which the bill, with proposed amend-
ments, had passed the House, was reconsidered.
The bill being then upon Its passage,
Mr. Hopkins submitted the following message :

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 18, 1870.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We have received your message asking for the return of
the bill incorporating the Harford County Railroad Company,
and concur therein, and herewith comply with your request
by returning the bill.

By order

MILTON Y. KIDD,

Chief Clerk.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate to-
gether with the bill named therein.

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill en-
titled an Act making appropriations for the support of the
Government for the year ending on the first day of January,

1871.

Said bill being upon a third reading,

Mr. Hoblitzell, (the rules being suspended,)

Moved a reconsideration of the vote by which the amend-
ment to said bill: Sec. 1, title, "For State Officers," strik-
ing out the words " two thousand," and inserting the words :
fifteen hundred, was adopted.

Decided in the affirmative.

The question then recurring upon the adoption of the
amendment,

Mr. Hoblitzell moved that the amendment be stricken out.
The question recurring upon concurring in the motion,
On motion of Mr. Owings,
The yeas and nays were ordered and appeared, as follows :
