lem, in Washington county.

The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Spa City Hotel
Company of Bladensburg, Prince George's county, Maryland,
without amendments.

The bill entitled a supplement to an Act, incorporating the
Columbia and Port Deposit Railroad Company, passed Jan-
uary session, 1858, chapter 103, giving authority to extend
their road, and connect the same with other railroads, without
amendments.

Which was read a second time.

Mr. McLane, Chairman of the Committee on the Library,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 7, 17 and 18, of
Article 55, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled,
" State Librarian," and re-enact the same with amendments.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
an Inspector and Weigher of baled Hay, Straw and Husks,
for the City of Baltimore.

Agriculture, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed January
session, 1868, chapter 300, entitled an Act to organize and
regulate the Department of Labor and Agriculture, pursuant
to the 10th Article of the Constitution, and to re-enact the
same, and to continue said Department for four years from
the expiration of the term of office of the present Superinten-
dent.
