Mr. Marbury submitted the following amendment:

Strike out in section 13, line two, all after the word "in-
corporation," to the word "approved," in third line, and in-
sert : except the following.

Which was adopted.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being

The bill entitled an Act for the protection of Rabbits in
Prince George's county.

Said bill being upon a second reading,

Mr. Turner submitted the following amendment:

Sec. 1. After the word "Rabbits," insert the words: in
Prince George's county,

Which was adopted.

Mr. Kilbourn moved to strike out the enacting clause of
the bill,

Decided in the negative.

Mr. Colton moved that the bill be indefinitely postponed,

Decided in the negative.

The bill, as amended, was then read a second time and
ordered to he engrossed for a third reading.

On motion of Mr. Harrington, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to provide for the protection of sheep in Queen
Anne's, Dorchester, Wicomico and Somerset counties, and
for reimbursing owners of sheep for damages sustained by
them in killing or injuring sheep by doga.

Said bill being upon a third reading.

Mr. Crawford, (by unanimous consent,) submitted the fol-
lowing amendment:

Section 1, line 2, strike out the word "Wicomico."
Which was adopted.

And the bill as amended, ordered to be engrossed, and
having been engrossed,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
