So the motion to adjourn was decided in the negative.
The following bills, having passed both branches of the
General Assembly, were this dav submitted to his Excellency,
the Governor, for his approval:
An Act to repeal section 43, Article 61, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title, "Mechanics' Lien," and re-
enact the same with amendments.
An Act entitled a supplement to the Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Frederick and Emmittsburg Turnpike
Company; passed December session, 1844, chapter 146.
An Act to regulate the pay of Bailiffs in the Superior
Court of Baltimore city; of the Court of Common Pleas of
Baltimore city; of the Baltimore City Court; of the Circuit
Court of Baltimore city and of the Criminal Court of Balti-
more city.
An Act to provide for the erection of a Bridge over Jones'
Falls at Woodbury, in Baltimore county.
