A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to fund the floating debt of the City to
an amount not exceeding eight hundred thousand dollars.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. McLane moved that the bill be read a second time this
day, under the provisions of section 27, Article 3, of the Con-
stitution.

The question being upon concurring in the motion.
