776 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 15,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 11, chapter 153,
passed January session, 1868, entitled an Act to repeal an
Act passed at January session, 1866, entitled an Act to in-
corporate a Company to build a Turnpike Road from Union
Bridge, Carroll county, to Unionville, Frederick county,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the American White
Lead Company.

Which was read a first time.
Also, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the President and Directors of the
Chesapeake Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, without
amendments.

Mr. Sanner, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 640, of Article 4,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, " City of Baltimore,"
and to re-enact the same with an amendment.

Mr. Dennis, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 483, of Article 4,
of the Public Local Laws, of the City of Baltimore, sub-title,

for the establishment of an Academy, at Elkton, in Cecil
county, passed at December session, 1817, without amend-
