Mr. Streett, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize John H. Stokes, of Har-
ford county, surviving Trustee, to sell and convey a parcel
of land to the Trustees of Deer Creek Monthly Meeting of
Friends, for the use of their members, at Broad Creek Meet-
ing.

Which was read a first time.

Also favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to add the following sections to Ar-
ticle twelve, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Har-
ford County," sub-title "Sheriff," to come in after section
one hundred and thirty-six.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Seibert, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reported unfavorably,

A bill entitled ati Act to repeal an Act passed at December
session, in the year A. D., 1832.

The unfavorable report was adopted.
Mr. Baldwin, of Harford, Chairman of a Select Commit-
tee, reported favorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appoint-
ment of an additional Justice of the Peace in district No. 2,
(Hall's Cross Roads,) in Harford county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Neill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enlarge the powers

of the Qounty Commissioners of Washington county,
under Article twenty-one, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
entitled "Washington County," under the head of ''County
Commissioners," by adding thereto the following sections.

You are hereby respectfully requested to return for the
further consideration of this House, the bill entitled an Act
to amend the Act of January session 1865, chapter 70, enti-
tled an Act to authorize the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company, to build a railroad from a point on the line of its
road within the State of Maryland, between Knoxville and

the Monocacy Junction, through Frederick and Montgomery
