The bill entitled a supplement to an Act incorporating
The Columbia and Port Deposit Railroad Company, passed
January Session 1858, chapter 103, giving authority to ex-
tend their road and connect the same with other railroads.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 39, of Article 20,
of the Code of Public Local Laws entitled "Talbot county,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time and referred to the Talbot
delegation and Mr. Brown.

Also,

The bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment of
an additional Justice of the Peace in district No. 2, (Hall's
Cross Roads,) in Harford county.

Which was read a firsb time and referred to the Harford
delegation:

On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Harford,

The House took up for consideration the bill entitled an
Act to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford
county, to sell the present Poor House Farm and purchase
another, and select suitable buildings for the use of the pau-
pers of said county.

Said bill being upon a third reading.
On motion of Mr. Baldwin, of Harford,
The vote by which the bill was engrossed for a third read-
ing,

Was reconsidered.

The question then recurring upon the engrossment of the
bill,

On motion of Mr. Streett,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill recommitted to the Harford delegation.

Mr. Touchstone submitted the following

JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

Whereas, The Constitution of the United States, as it was
formed and adopted by the thirteen original States, was de-
signed as a perpetual bond of unity and fellowship between
