Mr. Markland, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
reported unfavorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 555, 557, 558,559,
560, 561, 562, 563, 564, of Article 4, of the Public Local
Laws of Baltimore city, entitled "Wood," and also to repeal
chapter 116, passed January session, 1862, relating to in-
spection and cording of fire-wood in Baltimore city.

Also,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the inspection of
ground black oak bark, designed for exportation from Balti-
more city.

Also, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to define the duties of the Fire In-
spector for the city and county of Baltimore.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Duke, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 23, of Article 41,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, entitled
"Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Patuxent," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Hammond, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the per diem and mile-
age of Jurors in Talbot and Caroline counties.

Mr Kilbourn, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel county to correct the assessment of
certain real estate in said county, and to refund taxes paid ia
error.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Bowlus, Chairman of the Joint Select Committee on
the part of the House, in the State Deaf and Dumb Asylum,
