Mr. Percy submitted the following order :

Ordered, That J. D. McEvoy, Postmaster, have leave of
absence until Tuesday next

Which was adopted.

Mr. Harrington submitted the following order :

Ordered, That J. A. Brown, Page, have leave of absence
until Monday next.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Myers submitted the following order :

Ordered, That Mr. Standish, of Allegany, have leave of
absence until Wednesday next.

Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Neill,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to repeal chapter 249, of the Act of 1867, en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Farmers' and Mechanics'
Mutual Insurance Company, of Washington county, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill to enable George Leatherman and Peter Leatherman
to sell and convey certain property belonging to Tunker
Church, near Wolfsville, in Frederick county.

On motion of Mr. McCredry,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means
to introduce a bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
passed at the January session of the General Assembly of
Maryland, 1867, chapter 247, entitled an Act to establish
and incorporate an Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb of the
State of Maryland, adding additional sections thereto, and
authorizing a sum for the support of said Asylum.

On motion of Mr. Bowlus,

Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill to add a supplement to an Act to incorporate the Lu-
theran Congregation of St. Paul's Christ Lutheran Church
and Mount Zion's Lutheran Church, in Frederick county,
passed at the January session, 1849, chapter 310.

On motion of Mr. Thomas, of Frederick,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill to re-organize and regulate the Department of
