Which was read, and
On motion of Mr. Banner,

Ordered to be entered on the Journal, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.

Mr. Neill presented the petition of Joseph Roberts, asking
for a pension.

Also,

The petition of Devault Young, a soldier of the war of
1812, for a pension.

Also,

The petition of Elizabeth Reeder, widow of a soldier of the
war of 1812, for a pension.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Thomas, of Frederick, presented the petition of Ed-
ward Nichols and 30 other citizens of Frederick county,
praying the passage of a law requiring Municipal and
Borough Corporations in said county, to pay all jail tees and
other expenses incurred in the commitment of prisoners by
the authority of such corporations.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delega-
tion.

Mr. Marbury presented the petition of Richard Q. Boiling
and others, of Prince George's county, asking for another
election district.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's delega-
tion.

Mr, Bowlus presented the petition of Daniel Brown, Josiah
Harp and other citizens, praying the passage of an Act to
enable George Leatherman and Peter Leatherman, to sell
and convey certain property belonging to the Tunker Church
near Wolfsville, in Frederick county.

Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.

Mr. Dennis presented a petition from citizens of Howard
county, praying the abolition of Wood Inspection.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Inspec-
tions.

Mr. White presented the petition of Leonard Picking, Col.
Jno. R. Rouzer, M. F. Sefton and 39 other citizens of Fred-
erick county, praying the passage of a law requiring Muni-
cipal and Borough Corporations in said county, to pay all
