The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate
bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Western
Maryland Railroad Company, by increasing the number of
Directors in said Company, and authorizing the appointment
of eix Directors by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore,
in addition to two already appointed by said Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, and by authorizing the said Company
to issue their bonds to the amount of fourteen hundred thou-
sand dollars, in addition to the amount already authorized,
and to secure the payment of the same by mortgage.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
Said bill was then returned to the Senate.

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to extend the corporate powers of the Cumber-
land and Somerset Turapike Road Company, incorporated by
the Act of 1841, chapter 60, and the supplement thereto,
passed by the Act of 1842, chapter 96, until the year 1900.
