The bill entitled an Act to relieve and protect the cotton,
woolen, and other factories of the State of Maryland,

Was read a third time.

Mr. Merrick moved that the bill under consideration be
referred to a Committee of the whole House.

Decided in the affirmative.

The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the
