The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to issue the bonds of the City of Balti-
more to an amount not exceeding two millions five hundred
thousand dollars, for the purpose of providing means for the
improvement of Jones' Falls, within the limits of the City of
Baltimore,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as

the General Assembly of Maryland, chapter 219, entitled an
Act to incorporate the Monumental Fire Insurance Company
of Baltimore, and to change the name of said Corporation,
and to enlarge its powers,
