the City of Cumberland into two election wards,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the Mount Ver-
non Manufacturing Company of Baltimore city, incorporated
under Article 26, of the Public General Laws of this State,
as the same is amended by the Act of January session, 1868,
chapter 471, to conduct its operations upon property by it
owned in the city of Alexandria, in the State of Virginia.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled a
Supplement to an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Su-
perannuated Fund Society of the Maryland Annual Con-
ference, passed at December session, 1839, chapter 285;
passed at December session, 1844, chapter 21.

Was read a second time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Joshua Mot-
ter and Samuel Motter, or either of them, to convey all the
right, title, interest and claim of the German Reformed Con-
gregation at Emmittsburg, in Frederick county, in and to
the Elias Church property, to the Evangelical Lutheran Con-
gregation or their legal representatives,

Was read a second time.

On motion of Mr. McLane, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of House bills
entitled to a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to provide for the improvement of
Jones' Falls, within the limits of the City of Baltimore,

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
lows :
