ment submitted by Mr. Marbury on yesterday, found on iolio
607 of the Journal,

The amendments were then severally read and adopted,

And the bill as amended read a second time and' ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the next
order of the day, being the bill relative to Wild Fowl.

Said bill being upon a second reading.
On motion of Mr. Markland,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and said
bill made the order of the day for Tuesday next, 15th inst.

On motion of Mr. Gatch, (the rules being suspended,)

The House proceeded to the consideration of the Senate bill
entitled an Act to amend an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Towsontown Railroad Company, passed
at the January session, 1858,

Said bill being upon a second reading,

The question recurring upon the amendments proposed by
Select Committee:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

In section 2, line 36 of the printed bill, after the word
"Company," insert: And also the benefits and advantages
to accrue to the owner or owners by the construction of the
said road as a set-off to the said damages, b«t only in extin-
guishment of the claim for damages, and not tor the actual
value of the land or other material taken, and after having
made a fair and jubt off-set of the advantages and disadvan-
tages arising from the construction of said railroad, they
shall estimate and determine what amount of damages has
been, or may be, sustained by the said owner or owners respec-
tively.

In section 2, line 49 of the printed bill, after the word
"prescribed," insert these words: the cost of such second
inquisition to be in the discretion of the Court.

In section 3, line 5 of the printed bill, after the words "the
sum of," strike out "one" and insert three.

In section 3, line 10 of the printed bill, insert before tke
words "fifty," the words,: one hundred and.
The amendments were then severally read and adopted,
And the bill as amended read a second time.
On motion of Mr. White, (the rules being suspendes.)
