sey's Cross Roads in said county,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at De-
cember session, 1845, chapter 37, entitled an Act to- incor-
porate the Mutual Insurance Company of Washington coun-
ty, and the several Acts supplementary thereto and amenda-
tory thereof,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to relieve the sureties on the offi-
cial bond of J. B. Price, Sheriff of Cecil county,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Biddle submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 3, after the name of "Francis King," insert
the names : Ebenezer Clark, and Josias Blackway.

The bill, as amended, was'then read a second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act providing for the sale of the pro-
perty of the president and visitors of the Maryland Hospital
in Baltimore city, and for the removal of eaid Hospital to
Spring Grove, in Baltimore county, and for the transfer of
said Spring Grove property to the said president and visitors,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 2 of an
Act pa«sed at January session, 1868, chapter 266, entitled an
Act supplementary to the Act passed at January session,
1864, chapter 116, entitled an Act to revise and extend an
Act to incorporate the Wicomico and Pocomoke Road Com-
pany, with amendment, passed at December session, 1847,
and to re-enact the same with amendments and additions,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled a supplement to an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Monumental Savings Institution, passed
at January session, 1868, chapter 125, and to change the
name of said Institution to the Monumental Saving's Bank,
to authorize an increase of its capital stock, and to grant ad-
ditional powers thereto,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
