House of Delegates, all bills, reports, documents, and other
matter ordered to be printed by either House ; also the laws
and joint resolutions passed at the present session of the Le-
gislature. That said Committee invite proposals by public
advertisement, for a reasonable time, for said printing, be-
fore contracting or agreeing for the same. That said contract
or agreement to be given to the lowest and beet bidder. That
said Committee may, if more economical and advantageous
to the public interest, contract or agree for the printing of
the laws separately from the other printing, and may con-
tract with different persons for the different kinds of printing.
That said Committee report the names and bids of all parties
proposing for the whole or any of said printing. No contract
or agreement for the whole or any part of said printing to
take effect, and no printing to be done under or by authority
of the same until both Houses shall have approved of such
contract or agreement.

BY TUB HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 14, 1870.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message proposing that the Com-
mittee on Printing of each House be made a Joint Committee
with power to contract for the printing, &c., and concur
therein.

message be postponed until Monday next at 1 o'clock, P. M.
