to provide for repairing or remodeling the present jail and
court house of said county, or the building of a new jail,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1 of chapter 442
of the laws passed January session, 1868. and to re-enact the
same with amendments,

Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1868, chapter
414, entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act to repeal
Article 63, Code of Public General Laws, relating to Militia,
and sections 652 to 770, both inclusive, of Article 4, Code of
Public Local Laws, relating to Militia in the city of Balti-
more, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
enact the following in lieu thereof,

Being upon a second reading,

Mr. Baldwin moved that the House do now adjourn.

The question being upon concurring in the motion,
