Hamilton, Wilson, of Baltimore city. Kirk, Collins, Gard-
ner, Markland, Marshall, Neill, Seibert, Kean, Wilson, of
Allegany, Standish, Myers, Percy, Shower, Grouse, Merrick,
German, Crawfbrd, Gordy—47.

The Speaker laid before the House the memorial of Philip
C. Freise, praying the passage of certain resolutions in view
of the adoption of the Fifteenth Amendment as an additional
section to the Constitution of the United States.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Federal
Relations.

Mr. Hardcastle, of Talbot, presented the petition oi P. T.
Kennard and 97 citizens of Talbot county, praying the Gen-
eral Assembly to enact a law authorizing the Commissioners
of Easton to issue bonds to an amount not exceeding six thou-
sand dollars, for the purpose of building a new market house,
and to provide for the payment of interest on said bonds, and
for the retirement of the same twenty years after date.

Which was read and referred to the Talbot delegation and
Mr. Brown.

Mr. Shipley presented the petition of Francis C. Fossett,
Thomas J. Gorsuch,Richard H. Pleasants, George S. Brown,
Shadrach Kemp, and 347 other citizens of Baltimore county,
against the removal of the county seat.

Also,

The petition of William P. Preston, Hon. T. G. Rutledge,
Richard J. Gittings, John P. Kennedy, and 352 other citi-
zens of Baltimore county, against the removal of the county
seat.

Also,

The petition of Pleasant Hunter, Daniel J. Macanley, Si-
las H. Stocksdale, Robert Royston, and 524 other citizens of
Baltimore county, against the removal of the county seat.

Also,

The petition of Dr. Ephraim Bell, Hon. James A. Standi
ford, William Ruhl, John VV. Haile, and 405 other citizens
of Baltimore county, against the removal of the county seat.

Also,

The petition of Gen. Isaac R. Trimble, O. P. Macgill,
Zachariah Alban, Nelson Cullings, and 176 other citizens of
Baltimore county, against the removal of the county seat.

Also,

The petition of Hon. D. C. H. Emory, Jeremiah Yellott,
Horace Abbott, John S. Carswell, and 295 other citizen of
Baltimore county, against the removal of the county seat.
