Commissioners of Baltimore county to levy an amount of
money to reimburse certain parties for building and repairing
bridges in Baltimore county.

Mr. Kean, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesapeake Coal
and Iron Company.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Baldwin, of Harford, Chairman of a Select Commit-
tee, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to enable the prisoners in the Mary-
land Penitentiary to receive the benefits of their good be-
havior.

A bill entitled an Act for the better protection of. the
bridge over the Sassafras river, from Fredericktown, in Cecil
