Also,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the seventh and eighth
sections of an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Permanent
Building and Land Society, passed at January session, 1861,
chap. 358.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Merrick, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act providing for the sale of the proper-
ty of the Piesident and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital,
in Baltimore city, and for the removal of said Hospital to
Spring Grove, in Baltimore county, and for the transfer of
said Spring Grove property to the said President and Visi-
tors.

Which was read a first time
Also,

A bill entitled an Act to relieve the sureties on the official
bond of J. B. Price, Sheriff of Cecil county.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Morse, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
to whom had been referred the Senate bill entitled an Act to
incorporate the Liberty Branch Railroad Company,

Reported back the same with proposed amendments.

Said bill being upon a second reading.

Pending which,

On motion of Mr. Wootton,

The further consideration thereof, was' postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for to-morrow, 26th inst.

On motion of Mr. Marbury,

The House proceeded to the consideration of the unfinished
business of yesterday,

Being the bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1853,
chapter 194, entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore
and Potomac Railroad Company, and to repeal the second
section of the Act of 1860, chapter 71, and to extend the time
for the completion of the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad.

Said bill being upon a second reading,
