Which was read a first time and referred to the Washing-
ton delegation.

The bill "entitled an Act to incorporate the Elkton and
Massey'e Railroad Company,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,

At 2 3/4o'clock, P. M.j the House adjourned until to-inorrow,
at 12o'clock, noon.

SATURDAY, February 19, 1870.

The House met and was opened with prayer by the Rev.
Mr. Henderson.

Present at the call of the roll the following members :

Messrs. Latrobe, (Speaker,) Loker, Martin, Wilmer, Wells,
Mitchell, Cameron, Shipley, Gatch, Turner, Hardcastle, of
Talbot, Harrington, Touchstone, Marbury, Wootton, Duvall,
Thomas, of Queen Anne's, Purnell, Bowlus, Ritter, Hopkins,
Garey, Sanner, Hamilton, Cooper, Morse, Blake, Webb,
Wilson, of Baltimore city, Wiley, McLane, Colton, Kirk,
Ehlen, Sword, Hilton, Kean, Wilson, of Allegany, Myers,
Percy, Gorman—41.

No quorum being present,
On motion of Mr. McLane,

At 12 1/4 o'clock, P. M., the House adjourned until Monday
next at 12 o'clock, M.
