On motion of Mr. Martin,

The House then proceeded to the consideration of the order
of the day, being

The bill entitled an Act to authorize James S. Morsell, Jr.,
of Calvert county, Mason L. Weems and George F. Need-
ham to construct a pier at No. 3 Tobacco Warehouse wharf,
in the City of Baltimore,

Said bill being upon a second reading.

On motion of Mr. Wootton,

The further consideration thereof was postponed, and

The bill made the order of the day for Thursday, 24th
inst.

The House then resumed the consideration of the next
order of the day, being

The Joint Resolutions in relation to the payment of the
six per cent, dividend by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company, upon the $3,000,000 of stock subscribed by the
State,

Said Resolutions being upon a second reading,

On motion of Mr. McLane,

The further consideration thereof, was postponed, and

The Resolutions made the order of the day for Wednesday.

The rules were suspended, and

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill en-
titled an Act to incorporate the Harford county Railroad
Company,

Said bill being upon a third reading.
