reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the town of Manches-
ter, in Carroll county.

A bill entitled an Act to amend and make perpetual the
charter of the Society of Redemptionists of the City of Balti-
more, incorporated January 21st, 1842.

Which was read a first time.

Mr. Mitchell, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
164, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article
5, Code of Public General Laws, title "Appeals," sub-title
''Appeals from Justices of the Peace."

the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Landlord and

right, title, interest and claim of the German Reformed Con-
gregation at Emmittsburg, in Frederick county, in and to-
the Elias Church property, to the Evangelical Lutheran
Congregation, or their legal representatives.

Mr. Gatch, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

A bill entitled an Act to lay off streets in Baltimore count)
adjoining Baltimore city, and to repeal certain sections in-
