Mr. Hopkins submitted the following order :

Ordered, That leave of absence be granted to Mr. Streett
until Tuesday, the 22d inst.

Mr. Brattan submitted the following order :

Ordered, That the State Printer be, and he is hereby re-
quested to furnish the Comptroller of the Treasury with one
hundred (100) copies of the Comptroller's Report.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Standish submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that Mr. Wil-
son, of Allegany, is absent on account of sickness.

Which was adopted.

On motion of Mr. Veitch,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to repeal section 49, of Article 88, of the Code
of Public G-eneral Laws, entitled "Sheriffs," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

On motion of Mr. Chapman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill to repeal section 17, of Article 53, of the Code of
Public General Laws as enacted by chapter 173, of Act
passed, A. D., 1868.

On motion of Mr. Owens,

Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill authorizing the Trustees of the lower West Nottingham
Presbyterian Church to sell a lot of ground, part of a be-
quest of E. A. McMains, deceased, of Cecil county, and apply
the proceeds t6 the uses of said Church.

On motion of Mr. Touchstone,

Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to report a bill
to protect fish in the waters of Mill creek and Principio
creek, in Cecil county.
