Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said Western
Maryland College shall receive and give tuition,
free of charge, to at least one scholar from each
election district in said county in each scholastic
year, the said scholars to be appointed by the
Board of School Commissioners of said county.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That the said Man-
chester Academy shall receive and give tuition,
free of charge, to at least one scholar in each scho-
lastic year, the said scholar to be appointed as pro-
vided for in the preceding section.

of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 467.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the present
Trustees of the Lower West Nottingham Pres-
byterian Church, or their successors, to receive
and hold by conveyance from William Little,
three acres of land in Cecil County, to be used
as a Cemetery, and to hold the same in trust for
said purpose.
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Thomas J. Gillespie, Robert
N. Hindman, William B. Rowland, James M.
Evans, George Gillespie, Theodore L. Marshall,
Samuel Tosh, John W. Mount and James O.
McCormick, Trustees of the Lower West Notting-
ham Presbyterian Church in Cecil County, or their
successors, be and they are hereby authorized and
empowered to purchase, and hold to them and their
successors in office, a lot of ground in said county
containing three acres, to appropriate and hold the
same as a Cemetery, in trust for the use of Lower
West Nottingham Presbyterian Church in said
county.
