the Chief Clerk to the Treasurer, sixteen hundred
dollars; for the Commissioner of the Land Office,
one thousand five hundred dollars; for the State
Librarian, one thousand five hundred dollars; for
the State Superintendent of Labor and Agricul-
ture, two thousand five hundred dollars.

JUDICIARY.

For the salaries of the Chief Judges of the first
seven Judicial Circuits, three thousand five hun-
dred dollars each, (twenty-four thousand five hun-
dred dollars ;) for the salaries of fourteen Associate
Judges of the first seven Judicial Circuits, two
thousand eight hundred dollars each, (thirty-nine
thousand two hundred dollars ;) for the Special
Judges of the Court of Appeals from Baltimore
City, the Chief Judge and four Associate Judges
of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, each
three thousand five hundred dollars, (twenty-one
thousand dollars ;) for the salary of the Attorney
General, three thousand dollars; for commissions
to Attorney, two thousand dollars; to the Sheriff
and Crier of the Court of Appeals, one thousand
dollars; for the salary of the State Reporter, one
thousand dollars; for the State's subscription to
two hundred copies each, of the volumes thirty-
three, thirty-four and thirty-five of the Maryland
Reports, four thousand dollars; and for the paper
on which said volumes may be printed, one thous-
and three hundred dollars, or so much thereof as
may be necessary in accordance with the Act of
Assembly of eighteen hundred and sixty-seven,
Chapter four hundred and ten; for the State's ad-
ditional subscription to two hundred copies each
of volumes thirty, thirty-one and thirty-two of
the Maryland Reports, four hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary, and four hun-
dred and fifty dollars to James S. Franklin, Clerk
of the Court of Appeals, for recording the laws of
the present session of the General Assembly.

Judiciary.

MILITIA.

For the salary of the Adjutant General of Mili-
tia, two thousand dollars; for contingent expenses,
stationery, &c., of the Adjutant General, five hun-
