60. In case of the lands of any deceased person
which may lie in more than one county, or in the
city of Baltimore, and one or more counties, be-
coming liable to the payment of his debts, or
where lands may have been mortgaged which lie
in more than one county or in the city of Balti-
more and one or more counties, then all such lands
may be sold under a decree of the Court of that
county or of the city of Baltimore, in which the
proceedings to sell the same shall be first com-
menced, and in such case a copy of the bill, decree
and trustee's report of the sale shall be sent to
the clerks of the proper Courts where such lands
may respectively lie, to be docketed, indexed and
recorded, as hereinbefore proved.

CHAPTER 451.

 

AN ACT to amend Chapter four hundred and
twenty- four of the laws passed January Session
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, incorporating
the town of Berlin, in Worcester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section three of Chapter four
hundred and twenty-four of the laws passed Janu-
ary session eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, be,
and the same is hereby repealed, and the following
re-enacted in lieu thereof:

re-enacted.

3. The inhabitants of the town of Berlin, in
Worcester County, qualified to vote for members
of the House of Delegates, and the inhabitants of
Worcester County qualified as aforesaid and own-
ing real estate within the corporate limits of said
town, shall on the first Monday in May next, and
on the first Monday in May in every second year
thereafter, between the hours of two and five o'clock
in the afternoon, elect by ballot five persons of
known integrity, owners of real estate in said tqwn
and residents therein for at least two years imme-
diately preceding their election, to be Commission-
ers of the town of Berlin for two years from the
day of their election.
