said to the capital stock ; may call in all install-
ments on stock agreeably to the terms of subscrip-
tion, and enforce payments thereon; may prescribe
conditions of forfeiture in cases of non-payment,
and dispose of all or any such forfeited stock, as
they in their discretion shall deem proper and ex-
pedient ; and generally may do all things necessary
to carry out the objects and intentions of this,
according to the true intent and meaning thereof.

Installments.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be taken or construed to authorize
the said company, either directly or indirectly, to
exercise or use banking privileges.

Not to issue.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That the Legislature
reserves to itself the right to alter or annul this
Act of Incorporation at pleasure.

Right reserved

Sec. V. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 447.

 

AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the bequest of Stephen
Rigdon, late of Harford County, deceased, to the
Trustees of the Rock Ridge Regular Baptist So-
ciety or Church in said county.

 

WHEREAS, Stephen Rigdon, late of Harford
County, deceased, by his last will and testament,
duly admitted to probate in the Orphans' Court for
Harford County, on or about the third day of Jan-
uary, in the year eighteen hundred and thirty-
seven, bequeathed to Martin Grafton, James Jen-
kin and others, Trustees of the Rock Ridge Regular
Baptist Society or Church in said county of Har-
ford, certain real estate, for the purpose of support-
ing a Regular Baptist Ministry in said church,
and with certain conditions thereunto annexed,
all of which are fully set forth in said last will and
testament; therefore,
