George's county, praying that the said Alice E. Hall be
placed on the pension list.

Also,

The petition of Ann S. Waters and other citizens of Charles
county, praying that the said Ann 8. Waters be placed on the
pension list.

Also,

The petition of Mary M. Young and other citizens of Prince
George's county, praying that the said Mary M. Young be
placed on the pension list.

Also,

The petition of Lloyd Johnson and other citizens of Charles
county, praying that the said Lloyd Johnson be placed on
the pension list.

Which were severally read and referred to the Committee
on Pensions.

Mr. Kilbourn presented the petition of Mrs. Willie Wig-
gins, widow of Daniel Wiggins, a soldier of the war of 1812,
asking for a pension.

Which was -read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Hardcastle, of Caroline, submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal of this House,
that J. B. Brown is detained from his seat by reason of illness.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Shipley, submitted the following order :

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that several
members who voted against an adjournment yesterday are
absent from the House this day without leave.

Which was read.

Mr. Webb moved to lay the order on the table.

Decided in the negative.

The question then recurring upon the adoption-of the order,

It was adopted.

Mr. Purnell submitted the following order :

Ordered, That no bill appropriating money from the Trea-
sury of the State be read a second time, until the said bill
shall have been printed.

Which was adopted.
